Using Your MBot At Home

You can download the mBlock software from http://www.mblock.cc/download/

Once you download, install and run the software you should see this.

From this window, you will be able to run basic scratch programs that interact with sprites. To interact with your MBot, go to Edit -> Arduino Mode.

Now, you will be able to write your scratch programs and upload them using the ‘Upload To Arduino’ button circled. Before you can upload, you need to ensure that a serial port that is not ‘COM1’ is selected and ‘mBot (mCore)’ is selected as the board.

Once you have the program you would like to upload you can press the ‘Upload to Arduino’ button and it will upload to your MBot. If you get an ‘Upload Failed’ error, make sure that you have a serial port connected and the selected board is correct.
